• Fumi was raised with the world at her feet; a good education, finely cultured, primed and groomed to be a well-mannered little lady to some lucky suitor. But the life of a housewife was far from what she pictured for herself. Her nose was always trapped in books, but none were approved of by her parents. She dreamed of harlequin romances, daring adventures, roaring seas and breath taking landscapes; all things she'd never have if she lived to please her family. 
• Fumi pleaded her reasons but to no avail. Her parents were steadfast in their traditional views, ultimately causing Fumi to runaway.
• She'd spend the following nine years among a group of bandits along the Hoshidan border.
• Since leaving home, she hasn't had any direct communication with her parents. Friends within the capital city keep her informed of their status, but face to face conversations are out of the question. As far as they’re concerned, her parents feel as if they have no daughter.  

As far as personalities go, Fumi tends to be sassy and has a serious case of wanderlust. She's a lot smarter than people tend to think she is (after all, most bandits don't have a higher education) but it’s something she uses to her advantage. She'd much prefer strangers underestimate her abilities. Furthermore, Fumi very rarely spares a person of her opinion or thoughts- especially if provoked or asked for honesty. However, despite the snarky quips and smug grins, Fumi's got a tender underbelly. She can be insanely patient, showering those she likes in gifts via adventure novels and grand stories of the damsels shes saved and the bad guys shes slain. Her confidence in herself and her abilities are unshakable, and she tends to laugh at those who doubt her. The only opinions that matter to her are those of her parents, which is a constant source of heartache.
