Strengths

Andriel is equally cunning as he is powerful. He somehow knows how to get himself out of danger and stopped assassinations with his own hands.

The Alabasters are a militaristic family. It's a normal situation where every member of the family has been raised to become a soldier. Andriel is a skilled combatant since the day he was able to walk.

Always kept up with politics and everything going on in Belvar. There is NOTHING in Belvar that he doesn't know about.

Not only a fighter at heart, the Alabasters have raised a large army over the years. It still continues to grow, especially under Andriel's lead.

Flaws

Many of the people that serve him find him inherently cruel for an individual. He's well known for firing dozens of servants if they either stepped over their boundaries by a bit or they haven't performed enough.

Andriel's relationship with his daughters are entirely strained. He's focused solely on his sons, who are entirely dedicated to their father. The entire family is broken, but under Andriel's rule, most of them are too afraid to go against his word.

Andriel is stubborn and hard-headed. It's truly hard to persuade him to do many things that are outside of his comfort zone.

Skills & Abilities

Military Prowess
Andriel was born a knight and had always believed he was. Even in his teenage years, he's been studying military warfare until he was old enough to be drafted into the Military.
And in his Military days, he has always been raised to lead. Especially when the Alabaster army joined Cathal's fight against the Eastern Nations, Andriel came back feeling more victorious than ever. Since he became the patriarch of the Alabaster family, he had always prioritized his army over anything else.

Veteran Fighter
Alabaster will not stop and won't stop training. As for what? Absolutely nothing. Andriel feels compelled to put his body into work into fighting. Preferably sword fighting, he's always spent a partial of his daily life in the training yard by the garden.
Fortunately for him, all that training had some use. He's capable enough to apprehend all the attempted assassinations so far...

Connections... in the right (Wrong) places
If Alabaster can't get it, or do it... he knows a couple people. Though he's more aware of the more dangerous kinds of people that get him to carry his plans out. From bandits, to thieves, and even arsonists.

Trivia

  • Alabaster is a big stinky poo poo man
  • [WIP but just wanted to set this up]

Summary

28874649_ulBseErhXNKI824.png

Something something, Andriel was a stuck up little annoying kid but was bullied by other noble kids. Little baby man gets upset, holes himself up in his room, gets himself a private tutor, and then joins the military the older he gets. Military influences him and believes that dominance and total control is the only way he could have power and peace in Belvar.

The Heroes of Belvar

Blah Blah, the Alabaster family knew about the "Secret" of Belvar. In this case, Belvar had their powers separated among Houses. But over a century ago, they were owned by a single family but the family line broke apart. The Alabaster family knew that the Bastions were directly related to this single family and decided to set their home on fire. Growing up, Andriel was raised to rule Belvar under a thumb and he did all he could to make sure it remained that way. The newest Alabaster Patriarch was cruel in all sorts of ways, as he only cared about making sure he had total control over the city. Something something the whole city viewed Alabaster as the threat. [WIP]

Relationships

Caelan Zane

[ Rival ]

Caelan's views of Belvar remain the complete opposite. Everyone looks up to Caelan and how noble he views the city, speaking of hope and giving "room to grow." Him and his brother Culus drive Alabaster mad, because the both of them are aware of his potential plans for the city. All Andriel needs to do is to get rid of them, and it would make overruling much easier to do.

Count Veilleux

[ Rival ]

Alabaster view all Vampires as abhorrent, dark creatures of the night. To him, poor Henri is no different! When in real life, they're the wisest of all the mortals in the city. Count Veilleux views Andriel as a jealous man, and he denies his credibility.

Count Novelle

[ ??? ]

The House of Halifax has followed the Alabasters for years, and thanks to them that the Halifax prospered in their care. Yet, after the servants revolted against the previous Patriarch, they were now owned by a young man with little to no experience as to how to be a proper noble... let alone rule a family. So Alabaster takes advantage over poor Novelle for a couple of years. Before Nove realized what was happening and immediately ceased any sort of communication. Even after the death threats, Novelle still refused to speak another word to him.

Alphonse

[ Enemy ]

This so-called Duke of Belvar is never there in his own City! Because he prioritizes Cathal over Belvar, the city he was supposed to care for, Alabaster decides that he'll just remove Alphonse from power... once he takes complete control over it!
