About

Maruko is an amnesic and pessimistic person, he doesn’t see good in himself and the rare times he does feel worth something is when he’s selling his flowers or simply talking with loved ones. Brutally honest that it can causes some problems but he believes it’s better to always be honest even if it feels wrong to say..His wife loves this part of him so he doesn’t mind others opinion. He gets rarely grumpy, most of the time it’s because of his headaches with flashbacks to a life he doesn’t recall at all. A loving man for sure with a gentle side only a few can witness daily.

Last breaths of regret..

"Ahh..i feel cold suddenly..what is happening.. ? I can’t feel my body anymore..like it got detached from my head..oh Bei..hey where are you going.. ? I’m sorry for yelling at you..Please don’t go away..i’m not..f..eeling..we.ll..H..huh..who is that.. ? wh..at are you d..oing.. ? If y..you’re an angel..please..let..m..me start anew..I.."

Beginning anew

Maruko doesn’t have a past, or atleast he doesn’t remember any of it..all he can recall is someone calling out his name and waking up in a field of flowers, he felt strangely..sad and guilty of something..but what was it.. ? Fortunately the flowers surrounding him made him feel better and from this point on, Maruko decided to open a flower shop as the idea of being surrounded by flowers brings him peace and joy. Surprisingly, his shop became popular very quickly after a few years by the variety of flowers he was selling and just how soft-spoken he was with customers, that’s around this time that he met Kiyo, a ghostly lady with a heart of gold who always bought red camellia. They were acquainted at first, then over the visits in the shop, they became friends. His only friend since the beginning of his « life » as he tends to isolate himself in the backyard of his shop/house to grow more flowers.

Love at first word

A few months ago, a certain goddess by the name of Cerys came into town for one reason, find herself a potential husband. Maruko had heard of this..he did find her beautiful but he didn’t try his chance with her, he felt unworthy of her of course as why would a beautiful goddess marry a simple florist. It stayed that way for a few days until suddenly the goddess entered the shop herself, she asked him quite sarcastically why he wasn’t trying to win her over like all the others, he simply told that he wasn’t worthy of her and went on complimenting her without realising it just to prove she deserved the best..But instead Maruko made Cerys flustered, so flustered she left the shop while excusing herself, it was weird..but he shrugged it off. Now three days later, Cerys enters the shop and immediatly says in a rushed tone : « Will you marry me ? », he was confused and flustered, she kept on asking and he felt his heart skip a beat before he responded in a embarrassed voice how he told her she deserved better so why him of all people. She told him she saw something in him she had never seen in anyone else and loved him dearly now. He hesitated before softly accepting her proposal, she immediatly jumped onto him in joy and kissed him multiple times to his surprise, and finally two months later, they were married. Maruko and Cerys now live together in the backhouse of the shop and are living a peaceful life together.
