Akane is Takeo’s childhood friend and works for his mother (the queen of Coleoptera) as servant just like her mother.
Akane used to be really close to Takeo, but after what happened to his father and his decision to go train to become a general in the Lepidoptera kingdom, their friendship got a little difficult.
Akane admires Takeo for his strong will and determination (and for a long time she even had a crush on him, but she will soon realize he’s not attracted to her... or any other female).
Akane used to be bullied when she was a small grub because of her looks (ladybugs grubs have several spikes on their body) and Takeo was always there to help her.

Akane is a dreamy girl: she daydreams about finding a fairytale kind of romance 24/7.
This girl is really sweet, soft and kid with basically anyone and gets embarrassed very easily and she’s a bit clumsy and very shy.

In her free times (which isn’t much due to her job)she likes to walk around gardens to pick up some flowers and create patterns for clothes.
Akane can’t stand creepy people, people being mean for no reason, letting down people who believe in her and messy rooms.
