Personality

A kitbull who grew to think they were a browbird. They try and socialize with browbirds and try and do things all natural brows do. Yuju only speaks kittle but does not realize they are speaking another language. Yuju is oblivious to their differences from a brow. This extends to genders and anatomy. Standing at a whopping 3 ft high, they just believe they are smaller than most and unluckily born without an aspect. Yuju gravitates towards birds with more aspect magic prowess. They equate this with a bird's attractiveness and not their need to absorb magic to live. While they do like birds with more magic, they go off personality overall. Yuju will not stay friends with a jerk even if they have all the magic in the world. Yuju is a little obsessive with being with birds but is trying to be less obvious. Ultimate goal: be the browess brow with a classic brow family.

The Fireplace

Yuju enjoys warm places and feels most comfortable in a fireplace. Since they relax in them often, Yuju is known to be covered in soot. It'll be rare if you see them without it. Everywhere Yuju goes you'll know. If you miss the soot trails, Yuju also has flaming feet. They are good at controlling it but if startled or excited they might burn anything they touch to ash. It used to be hard for them but Yuju has gotten to a point were they only leave small surface fires. These fires are enchanted and do not burn much (similar to ponyta from pokemon). The amount they burn is depended on Yuju's emotion. Yuju can not control them and if startled they can burn as much as if they were still part of them. When visiting with other birds, Yuju will make a note to clean themself. They however will not sleep anywhere else but a fireplace.

Backstory

When Yuju was first "born" they were born with the Sol peculiar. A browbird like crest that floated above their head in a radiant little sun. since kitbulls are born without true parents, Yu was confused about where and what they were. All they knew was hunger. A glitter of a sort of "smell" rippled through them. It was weird to smell since they had no nostrils and yet something made their mouth water (If they had a mouth). Magic from the town nearby poured into the atmosphere. Unseen by all and used by many living and enchanted objects. This magic pulled Yuju which they quickly and greedily "gobbled" up. It was delicious. Yuju began absorbing all the stray whispers until they were satisfied. 

Nice and full of magic, Yu went back to puzzling about what they were. They were mostly a crawler but had grabby hands. Yu went about exploring the village. There were many creatures similar to themselves. All quad and small eating magic. However the one species Yu gravitated towards were the browbirds. There was something elegant about them. Above their heads was also a crest similar to what Yu had. It was from that day that Yu decided they were a browbird.

Flaming Feet -  While picking flowers one day to please a brow friend, Yu discovered a flower that replicated a burning sun. It was beautiful above all else. Quickly grabbing one they hurridly ran back to impress their friend. What Yu didn't know was this flower reacted to kitbulls specifically. A flower of the sun gave any kitbull the gift of fire peculiar. Suddenly their hands started to pop and crack with sparks. A warm glow radiated out from their palms and feet. It happened so quickly that Yu had no idea what was going on until the rose suddenly dissapeared from their hand. Flames covered all their paw pads. Due to their panicked state, Yu burn everything they touched. Trails of flames ate everything around. The fire department had no idea who started the fire and went around culling the flames. Yu ran as far as they could before finding safety in a fireplace. Nothing in the ash covered place caught fire.  Yu held their limbs away from them in a frantic manner. No matter how much they tried to smother the flames in water or ash, they stayed lit. For days Yu was too afraid to leave the fireplace. They became weak and tired from lack of magic to eat. There was very little in the fireplace and if Yu didn't leave they would surely die. Yu was terrified and dared not leave. It was then the town's representative Cteno came to Yu's hiding place. The town's investigation into the fire pinned Yu as the culprit. Cteno was annoyed but took a little pitty as Yu was so petrified and no mal intent was seen. Obviously not wanting the town to be set ablaze again, they had Yu sent to learn how to control their new peculiar.  It was a slow road but Yu gradually learned to manage their flaming feet. Yu now only burns things when shocked, scared or startled so they still sleep in the fireplace. Yu felt it was safe in there, too afraid to accidentally set fire to things while they were sleeping.

To the Greater Seas

Yuju was a resident of the city of ink. They enjoyed their little bubble world, trying to be the best they could be. Yuju knew no other life. Walking the streets during the day and sleeping in fireplaces at night. While this kitbull lived a normal life, they were not so normal. Yuju strongly believed they were a browbird and demanded to be treated as such. This ostracized them from both brow and kitbull groups a like. No matter how much their kitbull friends would try, Yuju would not budge on this thought. Yuju wanted to be accepted and tried very hard to make browbird friends. However, Yu became so obsessed that they were staring to follow their bird friends around too closely. This lead to them loosing many to the distress of Yu. Eventually it got so bad that Yuju just plain ignored complaints and reference to their kitbull or browbird affiliation. They just believed and that was it for them. Soon Yuju's life became a small world and everyone knew of the kitbull who thought they were a bird. It was time for them to spread their wings and get a new start. 

This start would come with the year's candlebright celebration. They were excited to discover visitors from other places were allowed into the city of ink. Yuju was anxious but excited. Portals opened up and many kitbulls, satyrs and best of all, birds, entered the city. Yuju spent most of the celebration studying the newcomers. Trying to gauge if they were something they wanted to follow out into the portal.  The traveling birds did not disappoint. There were so many colors and interesting objects Yuju had never heard about. Also with them came customs, terms and cultures that boggled their little brain. There was so much out there and Yuju wanted it all. Picking out a suitable bird to follow home, Yuju put their plan into action.

Once the festival was over Yuju quickly packed up their belongings and headed to the portal with the other guests. They tried to hide in the sea of feet. Yu was sure it wasn't against the law to leave the ink city but they still felt like they were breaking some rule. Yu was half expecting the guests to point them out and get dragged away by Cteno . Yu made a look. That kitbull was so grumpy and always apologizing for Yuju. Yu gave an excited shake, it'll be nice not to have Cteno on their back like a scolding parent anymore. Finally it was their turn to enter the portal. Yuju felt fear for a moment. What if the portal could tell that they were a ink town resident and they would be disintegrated on entry? Yuju gave a laughing shake and walked through the portal. Yuju opened their eyes, not realizing they had closed them. Excited guests were talking on the other side. The first thing yu noticed was a change of color. There was so much orange. Other than the color it felt the same as ink town. Yu was a little disappointed but remembered some of these guests talking about other regions. Yuju looked around the crowd, they would need to find their target to follow home. They didn't want to follow sand world or water birds home accidentally. It was worrying them the longer it took to locate their original target. A "sigh" of relief fell over Yu when they spotted their intended bird. Yuju ran after them. Knowing full well birds did not like Yuju following them, Yu decided to sneakily follow instead. They would introduce themselves when they felt more comfortable.
