Nine

Overview 

An Android used in a government run program to try to study the growth of AI programs.  He is the 9/10 robot on the list, so he calls himself Nine.  After being told by the humans at his work that he was uncool, Nine started up his own quest: The quest to find ultimate coolness status.

Backstory

When Nine was created, he was one of the ten in the first group of beta androids. The government placed this first group to do different jobs for them, and Nine was sent to a junk/car shop. The car shop was privately owned by a young man, who had applied for a grant. Since the shop was accepting government money, sending Nine to work there counted as doing work for the government, and the shop could also beta test new tech as it came out. The point of this test was to improve small businesses with the help from unpaid robot employees, but also to explore the socioeconomic effects of introducing and AI to live among humans. As a safety measure, Nine had to be monitored and shut down when he got too angry.  Because of this, LED lights were placed in his skin so that his human masters could know what he was feeling at all times, even if he never tells anyone.

Nine was very naive as he started his new job at the car shop.  This opened him up to being vulnerable to the 'dudes' who work there, and it wasn't long after Nine started that he started to get picked on.  He learned very quickly that a lot of the questions he asked were 'dumb as fuck', and that Nine was 'extremely lame' and 'uncool'.  Nine was very unfamiliar with all of these concepts, but he knew that he wasn't really welcome among their friend group.  

So, Nine gave himself his own task: to become the ultimate cool person.  Like... EVER.  So, he started studying 'coolness'.  His studies brought him to many different conclusions.  He started smoking even though smoking obviously did nothing for him, and started purchasing things like jean vests and ripped jeans in order to be 'cool'.  This didn't seem to help though. The guys at work continued to exclude him, and when the manager wasn't around, they would outwardly be mean to him, making Nine very unhappy.  The guys who work there don't think that Nine has real feelings, but he feels the hurt really bad.

But Nine is determined to be accepted, so he changed his punk look into something more sophisticated, and started on a new subquest to help his main one.  It was time to find himself a girlfriend.

Nine needs to charge every night, his neck opens and there's a connection to a headrest on a chair that was installed for him at the shop.  

Misc Facts

• Nine has no genitalia whatsoever (Not needed ofc).  He obviously does not eat either. 
• Nine doesn't bleed, and under his synthetic skin, it's just wiring. He feels pretty realistic though.
• Nine charges for 10 hours a night, and he needs to be turned off to be charging.
• Animals usually hate him because they can tell that he's not really human.

Lets get a hella cool, man. Honestly, I'm not sure what I wanna do yet but I'm open to suggestions.
