Sunny is, well… Sunny! They have a great energy, always wanting to have fun with their friends, and will never pass on the opportunity to make their friends happy. While they do have a short temper, they do try to keep it under control. A very flirty person, they flirt (jokingly) their friends, and seriously with strangers, despite being a bit of a hopeless romantic. Their passion lies in breakdancing, as a way to make them and their friends feel better when they’re upset!
Assigned female at birth, Sunniva grew up as an only child with their parents. They became interested in dance from a very young age, to which their middle class parents jumped straight in with dance lessons. After exploring a few genres, they picked breakdance as their favourite by the age of 8. However, as they hit their teenage years, dance began to absorb them. They would spend plenty of time dancing, and this time apart began to alienate them from their parents, who would continually try to spend time with their child, who would reject them. Compounding the guilt they felt when avoiding their parents to go dance, was the beginning realisations that they weren’t female, or at least wholly female. The stress of all of these things led to them regretting how little time they gave their parents as they grew up. Eventually, they decided to turn things around at 16, and a lot of their problems fixed themselves going forward following this reconciliation. With much of the stress removed, Sunniva was able to think more on their gender identity, and eventually came to the conclusion that they were non-binary, to which their parents were very supportive. Now, they’re pursuing their dream career with much of their problems removed, and want to put that energy into helping others who may not have had the chance to get over their stressors. The validation from their parents is all they need to keep going!
Hatchi and Sunniva go quite a way back! They are two of the more energetic members of their friend group, so a lot of the times they’re just being stupid idiots and bothering everyone (so long as they’re not bothering anyone). They met at age 7. Sunniva has decided to be the dedicated mood-improver for Hatchi whenever she is feeling sad or down. Hatchi sometimes has to let Sunniva know when they are getting carried away with their excitement in public sometimes, which they greatly appreciate! They are both very cuddly.
Flux and Sunniva (while not as close as themself and Hatchi) are very good friends. They care for each other quite a lot, as a result of how long they have been friends. While Flux sometimes struggles to keep up with Sunniva’s energy, Sunniva can mostly power down to help Flux manage them. They understand why Flux sometimes struggles with loud noises and lots of energy, which Flux is incredibly grateful for.
Sunniva and Darcie don‘t actually know each other, but Sunny is one of Darcie’s biggest fans on her Instagram page. Sunniva has notifications on, and is always eager to see her next photo shoot. Everyone likes to tease Sunniva for being a bit of a simp, but Darcie doesn‘t even know her!.
