Mortimer is a plague doctor worm on a string who was manifested by Strawberry Delirium to be an apostle, it's not exactly an angel or the like but it's a divine being created to aid in both physical and mental healing, Mortimer has healing powers but they're not a cure all and it often also must rely on what little it knows about actual medicine, it has no formal training outside of personal experience and what it's studied in (usually outdated) textbooks, and are a bit ditzy (but not dumb), but it's incredibly empathetic and has a genuine desire to help others
