History:
Born on February 12th [Date1] within Strasbourg, Alsace, then Germany. Auguste Clermont was raised from a family of Corvid farmers, selling the meat with magical properties to practitioners of the arcane and the occasional aspiring engineer. Though as the younger Auguste grew, he had seen a number of other animals, tended to by both their own family and others, including a number of great apes treated similarly. Regardless of this, his education was more or less standard for the time, save for his studies of animals and their biology.

Things seemed to be lasting well. Though Peace, on the other hand, had other ideas, as with the assassination of an Important Austrian Leader, Europe was plunged into war, and boarders now held a hostile force, though with luck, Strasbourg was relatively comfortably away from it all, Alsace trying to avoid the conflict completely. Still though, with the many horses going and animals at risk, Auguste decided to join the war efforts, putting his knowledge into use as he followed suit with what friends he had, and went to away to the fronts after he was trained.

One day however, in late [Date3], an unexpected and significantly more brutal artillery barrage from [Group3] riddles German positions in [Area3], destroying utility and damaging fortifications before an upcoming attack. Though this siege was twarted by the men and women of Germany who could hold their ground, Auguste was one of the first to be brought to medical aid from the initial bombardment, being treated with arcane techniques before the injured of other sections could be brought in. His time in the front were over when the trucks came to recover the dead and those who couldn't fight anymore.

Auguste spent months in numerous stages of recovery, being gifted prosthetics that worked with his natural magic and learning to walk with a new leg and act with a new arm, managing to finally make his way back home after Germany's eventual defeat. His home was being defortified, now under French occupation, though the numerous fractures that soon followed shared a partial independence, a deal he was comfortable with as the Psuedo-Country of Alsace soon became a powerhouse of war animals, powerful beasts encased with armour and weapons.

Now days, Auguste spends his professional life carefully cultivating well-bred sapient creatures and new technologies within a number of Alsace's heavily fortified 'Conservations'. Their purpose being to breed the next generations in growing numbers, turning them into living constructs later sent across to neighbouring regions in exchange for security and profit, though obviously keeping the greater excess to themselves just in-case. Despite the many connotations, Auguste deeply cares for each creature and construct that he raises and commonly treats, frequently acting on the front-lines, recovering and healing whatever they can bring back to safety.

Personality:
Steadfast, and knowledgeable. Auguste is dedicated to his work as dearly as he is to his beliefs, a focus that is hard to displace from what he enjoys, and impossible against something he disagrees with. This even extends to his spare time, he values it deeply enough that he will rarely let something get in the way of it.
