Probably the easiest person to get along with ever; they’re non-confrontational and can easily find a topic to start a conversation over. Easily adapts to most social situations, they thrive in the background just as easily as they thrive as the center of attention. They’re more than happy to step back and let other people take the spotlight, they like watching others shine just as much. Enjoys the occasional bout of solitude where it’s nothing but them and their animals. They have an excessive amount of empathy for every creature, great and small. They’ll gladly give roaches and mice the same respect they give to domestic animals and reptiles. Way more clever than people give them credit for. He isn’t exactly conniving, but he knows how to use his unassuming appearance to his advantage.
Doesn’t take most things seriously, including dire situations. Somehow, they’ll find a way to make a joke about anything- and that isn’t always welcome. He doesn’t do well when everyone around him is stressed. Doesn’t always react the best way to certain situations either, when there’s too many things happening at once they can almost completely lose their grasp on social queues and just attempt to bullshit their way through as many interactions as possible. Can unintentionally come off as rude or brash without realizing. Occasionally, some of their reactions to otherwise distressing or fear-inducing situations may seem “off” or dulled.

CHILDHOOD
Born to two parents fresh out of high school and unsteady on their feet- he was adopted out to his mother’s sister and her wife, where he was doted over and never without love for even a second. He still maintains a close relationship with his biological parents. The family moves to Japan when he’s 2 years old and stays until he’s around 7, just enough time for his mother Eiko to complete her Master’s degree and help their grandmother fix up her house. Their interest in reptiles and amphibians starts around here, with the abundance of open land and ocean to explore.ADOLESCENCE
After moving back home, they start middle school and take up rollerblading at the local park. Around the end of the school year, he comes home with an abandoned corn snake in his pencil box- his mother Eiko allows him to keep it, much to her wife’s chagrin. Joins the marching band during high school and meets Alan, the two becoming best friends almost immediately. They come out as trans during this time, being accepted with open arms.ADULTHOOD
They start interning at a local tattoo and piercing parlor after graduation, securing a decent job within the span of a year or two. After moving out and into their own apartment they begin rescuing abandoned and neglected reptiles, rehoming most but keeping their favorites. They start doing art as a part-time career too, making a decent amount of money off of tattoo commissions and occasional adopts.5’4, chubby but decently muscular, strong calves and thighs. Hair is typically either pink, blue, or green with roots occasionally showing; hairstyle is best compared to a mullet. Has monolids. Sometimes wears makeup during special occasions, typically eye makeup but never lipstick. Had top surgery, their nipples are tattooed on and have no remaining nerves. Has a few little amateur tattoos on their lower body, no bigger than an inch and easily hidden by clothing.
Notes- Hair is around 3b on the texture scale. Can be drawn with a chelseahawk-inspired hairstyle with few braided or beaded sections.
- Piercings are non-options. They have a septum piercing, labret piercing, 10mm gauges in each lobe, and 2 upper helix piercings on their right ear.
- Whites of eyes are subtly pigmented, not pure #FFFFFF white.
- Their permanent reptile/amphibian residents include: Lamarr (leatherback bearded dragon), Antlion (sandfish skink), Bouba (White’s tree frog), Kiki (smooth-sided toad), and Woobeewoo (morphed axolotl).
- Can easily gut and prep almost any species of fish within a minute. They’ve worked a few dull summers in the local fish market, and they still have friends there willing to give him discounts on seafood.
- Has a shitty tattoo of a frog smoking a blunt on his left asscheek. He plans on getting a headcrab doing a kickflip in the near future.

Just two gay-ass peas in a gay-ass pod. The fact they’re still best friends and hanging out on a weekly basis is proof that opposites really do attract. At this point, they basically live at each other’s apartments- Lamarr basically considers him her second dad, and they’re not going to doubt her intuition.
