About: Tyson may look a bit intimidating at first glance. For starters he’s very large, even for a Dane. He stands over 3 feet tall at the shoulder. On top of that, he has big menacing looking scars on his back and he’s missing an eye. Which kind of gives him the appearance of a pirate that starts too many bar fights. But I assure you, he is the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet. The guy’s a big ole love bug that wants nothing more than to be happy and surrounded by friends. Tyson is a “forever-puppy”, a 6 year old at heart. No matter how old he gets, he will never grow up. TBC

History: Today, Tyson is always surrounded by friends who give him the all the love and care he craves. But his life wasn’t always sunshine and rainbows. Tyson had a bit of a rough start, he was abandoned on the side of the road right after he was weaned. (Nobody knows the exact reason, but Tyson suspects it was because he was born without his left eye) Growing up alone on the street was not easy, especially for a few-month-old puppy. Ty struggled to find food, lived in a cardboard box, and spent most of his pup hood cowering from fear. Being small and naive, he was often targeted by meaner and tougher city dwellers. The scars on his back are from when he was cornered and attacked in an alleyway (but he refuses to say who or what attacked him because of the bad memories it will bring up) Luckily, when he was almost a year old, he was found by Festus and Ralph (now his two closest friends) The two took him under their wings, and he’s stayed with them ever since.
