Slime

Slime was always behind on things, he could never get things right it seems. The poor kitten wanted to join The Nightcrawlers, a specialized group of cats that hunted and fought giant beasts called "Wyrms", but it seemed he failed every assignment. The leader, Null, decided to try and send him on one more mission, to prove himself to the group. If he could slay a Wyrm by himself, singlehandedly, he could join. So, Slime decided to try this seemingly impossible task. Along the way, he met another young cat by the name of Cottonwood, who always got everything right. This cat decided to help poor Slime, and along with the help of a young dog thief by the name of Orchestrion, the three slain a Wyrm together, and Slime took all the credit so he could join.

Slime was always grateful for Cottonwood's help, and he actually became a very good member of The Nightcrawlers. Once he caught wind of the destruction of Cottonwood's home and the murder of his father, Slime decided to help his friend out. Although, something seems off with Cottonwood's plan... Oh well, he's doing it for a good cause, guess it's best not to worry about it...
