The Roman Pantheon has always been a mirror to the Greek Pantheon, and this remains true here. The Roman gods have their own slew of children that has their own culture and way of running things. Camp Jupiter trains their demigods and teaches them how best to battle and partake in quests.

Following Damien's supposed death in the Labyrinth, he is discovered to not actually be dead, and instead having escaped through to California without his memories. He is found by Camp Jupiter and brought up in this new society. Things do not remain so smooth, however, as even more trouble follows to this new camp as well and Lou, a Roman demigod, ends up on the other side of America in Camp Half-Blood.
