For the whole time that Fae were (still is) in the agency, she was the abusive type of person, taking way too at heart her job and in the end, sacrifying the love she could've had for her son. At some point in the story, she had been told that Terendum betrayed the agency (even if it were nowhere near the truth). She took it upon her hands, with the help of Sercosis, to kill Terendum.
In the unfortunate times, Yuk weren't supposed to exist. But even after the backstory that even Terendum didn't feel like talking about, he took the responsability to take Yuk as his child. Years later, when Fae got the information that Terendum ''betrayed'' the agency, he knew soon right after that he had to run for his life. Escaping the agency with Yuk, only the child made in alive.
