Dethkuloz

You are not going to find out this fairy's past this easily. Dethy isn't a big fan of clinging to the past so he looks forward to the future. No matter how you ask, he is not going to tell you his backstory. You would only know if you knew him but most everyone that's known him is long gone. There is no reason to talk about the past with him. 

Dethkuloz is a fairy, maybe not the picturesque kind of fairy but he's got wings and a very powerful kind of magic surrounds him, a warning that maybe you might not want to mess with him. He's fairly tall and skinny, he has no flesh with his body having a rather skeletal appearance. Though it is unlikely most will ever see much of it besides his hands as he typically wears outfits that cover as much as possible. It's so he doesn't attract much attention to himself but with his neck in particular it is always covered. 

Personality wise, he's smart, meticulous and always calculating. Even being as old as he is he's always in the know about what's going on with humanity. He knows of their trends, holidays, cultures and many more. Dethy knows the best way to fit in, typically disguising himself as a regular butterfly when out and about, due to most non-insectfolks not knowing much about them in general, anything about him that's deemed unusual is just chalked up to most people being unfamiliar with the diversity of insects. There is no malicious reason for Dethy's visits amongst mortals, he's just doing it out of curiosity. Although unlike other immortal beings he's always rooting for the betterment of humanity. 

Being a fairy Dethy of course has many tricks up his sleeves, his powers mainly revolve around puppetry. The ability to take control of a person or thing, a power that works best on the dead or weak willed people. He prefers to use corpses for this power as there's no real worry about anyone getting hurt. This ability is mainly useful for eavesdropping or doing anything that might result in danger to the puppet master's body. Though it's rare when Dethy would need this power so it's seldom used. His other abilities center on decay and sickness, these powers take up much energy depending on how much of it is used and on what. The decay of insects and plants is a simple snap of the fingers but for a human it's easier to give them food poisoning. And the power he uses the most is absorbing magic residue from the deceased which is what his main job is anyway. He splits this power with his boss. 

He has an interesting relationship with Firmis, they seem to be really good friends. When Dethy is not busy he takes Firmis alongside him to visit earth and partake and it's many curiosities. Dethy is perfectly content with spending an eternity with Firmis. 

Dethkuloz is neither good nor evil, he's somewhere in the middle. He doesn't care to kill anyone because it does nothing for him but if it comes down to it he will.
