If not for her exile, and her father's everlasting life, Jing was next in line to the Serpentine throne - as ruler of China. Throughout her life, she was never good enough for her father, despite learning well from his sorcery... And even surpassing him in certain magical disciplines.

But when it was revealed that she was the child of an affair, she was quickly banished - if not sought after to be executed, just as her mother may have been. She travelled to Yershver in search of her true father, and the start of a new life... Becoming popular in the Red Light District as a dancer, despite her shows being fronts for a friend to steal. However, after adventuring alongside him and a group of like-minded individuals, she learned of a deity that could teach her the ways of a magic beyond even her father... And, hoping to bring some of her royal funds to assist those in Yershver, she returned to China to take back her throne.
Restorations
With the unlikely help of a local, and a samurai and his apprentice, Jing rescued the dragon Xuroan from his shackles... Freeing all eastern dragons, and soon destroying her father. With that, Jing ended the Serpentine Empire for good, instead re-instating the rule of dragons and other mythical beings. But with a debt owed to her company, she has decided to stay among them for a little while longer... Returning to Yershver only to help the people there prosper as well.

While Jing mesmerizes the crowd with her dancing, Quinzel nabs up all the treasure they leave for his quick fingers. Jing and Quinzel are impossibly bonded not only by their occupation, but also their history and personalities... Always discussing romantic "prospects." Jing also has a certain fondness for Quinzel's bird, despite her disposition.
