A harpy-like monster, about the size of a person. However he is much too weak to lift a person off the ground. He wanders the country in search of something. He can't quite remember what he's looking for but there's definitely something missing that he needs to find.
He cannot speak or eat (on account of no mouth)
His necklace is his only possession. He takes very good care of it.
