Molly was placed into the foster system as baby when her parents were unable to raise her. While in foster care, Molly succumb to emotional and mental abuse by her foster parents. This resulted into her becoming a problem child lashing out at her follow foster mates and other foster parents who tried to help her. Over time the agency that had Molly on recorded almost gave up in any hope of her getting adopted until woman named Yu-ri Park came along. Molly in a way reminded her of someone close to her and adopted Molly right there. The foster parents and social worker didn't think the two would be able to connect but Molly quickly warmed up to the woman and within a short period of time Molly was under the guardianship Yu-ri.
