Togn was born in a loving family, being the first child made them independant quickly. School wasn't an easy part of their life: they were being laughted at because of their giant wings and their family. Togn's parents were said to pratique a strange kind of magic that no one really knew about. It was only a rumor of course, probably false, but it still hurted the little galamutt. Their sister, Hhadr, wasn't impacted like Togn, mostly because she didn't looked like her family at all.
Hladr was the most precious person in existence to Togn. Their sister was their world. They both had a good relationship, when Hladr had a problem at school, Togn would run to help her, even if they were clearly smaller than their opponent. Even if Togn was the oldest, Hladr and them were said to be twins more than once, not because of their appearce (they were the total opposite) but because of their strong bond.
Being teenager is never easy, neither was it for Togn. After a tragic accident, Hladr died. Togn's world was destroyed, smashed on the ground. The poor galamutt stayed in their bedroom for weeks, almost not eating, before deciding to go out. The library being their favorite place, they started reading random books. Until one of them talked about magic. At one point Togn started living in this library, reading everything they could on magic and how to bring back the dead.
Every attempts Togn made were unsuccesful. They gave up. Nothing could bring back Hladr. Togn continue to study magic, as they ended up really liking reading all these old books. They had small jobs at some cafe to finance all the books they were buying. Togn's parents decided to live somewhere else, far from all the memories, and let Togn have their old family manor in the forest near Silva City.
Togn started restoring this giant ruins-manor with their magic and stoped working at the cafe. One day, they saw another galamutt interested in the same spells books as them. Too shy to ask their name at first, Togn started seeing them more and more often at the library. Until one day this mysterious galamutt ended up in front of the manor's front door. Jersey was looking to learn more about magic and heard about Togn's project of turning the manor in a school. They just wanted to help.
Once Togn and Jersey finished repairing the manor, Togn taught Jersey everything they knew about magic, without hidding anything to them. The apprentice was very curious and would often ask question about the dead and dark magic to Togn. Being uncomfortable about this kind of magic, Togn let the galamutt find out by himself. At one point Jersey knew more about dark magic than Togn and what was supposed to happen happened. Jersey got too greedy and dark magic turned them into a beast that didn't cared about Togn or anyone anymore. Togn managed to make him leave Galma before they hurted anyone badly.
