The Han Family, one of the Ten Great Families of the Empire, is known for their gray hair and eyes. They preside in the Jae Hwa [재화] Palace which governs the Seung [승] District. The Seung District was originally ruled by Han, a daughter of Indira and was independent. However, after the creation of the Exian Kingdom, Han decided to join hands with Nam. This allowed the Seung District to maintain their unique language and culture. Born as the eldest of her family, Helen naturally became the Head of the Han Family after her father's death. She chose to house and foster a young Yeowon Nam, which brought great blessings to the Seung District and the Han Family after he became the Second in Command of the Empire.
