Jack is an introverted yet friendly man. He mainly keeps to himself, but he's not particularly shy, and he'll warm up quickly if he gets the feeling that someone is genuinely interested in what he has to say. He's quite eccentric and has a deep interest in cryptozoology and the paranormal, and while he claims to have a lot of personal experiences with this sort of thing, he's careful to not go into too much detail. He's pretty secretive about his past in general, and he struggles to open up to people, even with people he feels like he can trust. His other main interest is music, which he puts to good use given that he works at a record store.
He admittedly has a bit of a savior complex, and he's extremely eager to help anyone who he thinks needs it. He gets attached to people rather quickly and he's the type of person to take in strays. This is essentially how he ended up adopting his son Pinky, although he's hesitant to elaborate more on this, allegedly out of respect for Pinky's privacy. He also has two cats, Jinx and Mothman, who he absolutely adores.
DESIGN
- Jack is a tall, large man who carries most of his weight in his stomach and thighs. He's decently muscular and strong-looking, most noticeably through his arms. He has light skin with freckles all over his cheeks and arms, with a few small, round scars on his lower arms as well as two larger ones on his left forearm that resemble claw marks. He also has a lot of body hair on his chest, stomach, arms and legs, as well as stretch marks on his stomach, hips and thighs.
- His hair is a warm brown color and is very thick and curly (hair type 3B/3C). It goes to about halfway down his back and always looks very well-kept. He puts a LOT of effort into his hair, and if it looks messy or if he ties it back that's a sure sign that he probably isn't feeling great. He also wears a beard, although the length varies- There's always at least some stubble, given how fast his hair grows.
- He is missing his right eye and eyelid, with there being an indentation where his eye socket is and a lot of scarring around the area. This is nearly always covered by his eye patch. His remaining eye is a greyish blue, with a small ring of brown around his pupil. He has thick eyebrows and slight bags under his eye, and he has a small scar slightly above his left eyebrow.
- He has two tattoos: A rather poorly done, stick-and-poke alien head on his upper right arm and a moth on the center of his chest. He absolutely has more tattoos planned, but it's a matter of being able to afford it.

RELATIONSHIPS
Pinky is Jack's adoptive son! Jack is extremely protective of him and quite secretive about where he came from- He'll usually just tell people that Pinky was adopted out of a 'bad situation', which isn't a lie. He absolutely adores Pinky and does everything he can to give him a good life. He's naturally a good parent, even if he still doubts himself at times.
