Masako

Masako is originally from Kyoto, where there is a currently a big war going on between cat boys and cat girls. She wanted no part of this war after being involved in it for so long, so she left town, and wandered from bar to bar, being a classic barfly. But over time, she began to ask the bartenders how they made their drinks, and it eventually inspired her to become a bartender herself. She applied for every bartending job nearby, and got rejected every time. This enraged her. If she couldn't be accepted, she'd make her bar, with blackjack and hookers! Determined to start her own bar, she continued to wander all of Japan, continuing to learn how to make different drinks. Eventually, she stumbled upon a tiny hidden bar that was owned by the Nura Clan, with an even smaller old man running the joint. Masako didn't think much of the old man at first. Then she watched him. She had never seen someone make drinks like this before, and his drinks were phenomenal. When he was done, she begged him for his tutelage. At first, he rejected her offer, but after some convincing, he took her in as his apprentice.

Over time, she mastered the art of making drinks, and the old man retired, leaving her to run the small bar. With his blessing, she remade the place, expanding it and giving it a makeover, renaming it the "Catnip Bar." Word got out of her bar and hit the leader of the Nura clan, Rikou. He took a visit to her bar, and liked what she had done with the place. Rikou offered her a spot in his Night Parade officially, and gave her ownership of the bar. Elated, the nekojin accepted his offer, and became part of the Night Parade.

Since then, she's been part of the Night Parade, bartending to everyone who enters her domain.
