Ane, in Chariotian, means "skillful"; his middle name means "curious one". Low upper class from noble contractor family, coming from a tiny tribe of the only rock and sand manipulating people left. He can manipulate sand and granules, as well as disintegrate rocks into dirt or sand to slide along the floor or lift them to put out fire, which is usually the bulk of his contract career with the Kingdom of Crystal. It is a rare difficult magic; only three Chariotians in his time can manipulate sand or disintegrate rock and granite stones. Books can be their magic weapon, though not needed. He is curious, interested, and well liked. Due to his interest in various topics and conversation, he tends to charm or lull people into teaching him things or even spilling secrets, endearing him even to enemies. However, he does not have a great memory of people and is not a great speaker, so he always needs his journal and magic book on his person.

Large appetite due to his type of magic, eat anything, sleep anywhere. Picky about tea (only din), text, and art. Lacks humor. Fights against violence on defenseless magic-less people.
