Navi is an elf that grew up in the North Pole. He is a trained medic that spent two years interning for Krampus at the South Pole. During his stay there, he was required to go through the usual employee training to become the assistant nurse such as Healing 1, Physical Therapy, Mental Health 101, and Intro to Torture. Needless to say, as an elf from Santa's Workshop where everything is candy canes and jingle bells, he was deeply interested in all forms of pain infliction. Afterwards, his stay at the South Pole as assistant nurse was very busy, and he was constantly kept on his toes with the revolving door of injuries. At some point during this time, Krampus offered all workers the ability to get a pet, by hosting a taming event where the creature had been set free in the outer compound. Navi... was not interested in the slightest and preferred to take the time to have a longer lunch break. He had set his fork down to grab something when he turned around to see the creature, that Navi identified as an owl, fork held in-between it's very sharp teeth. He named it Fork, and Fork has been a wonderful (and definitely an owl) familiar ever since.

Two years into working at the South Pole, he finally heard back from his applications at the North Pole, interested to see if Navi would be interested in becoming the Head nurse. He talked with Krampus about it, who urged him to take the higher position, and congratulated Navi on being accepted. However, when he returned back to Santa's Workshop... he became incredibly bored. There are so few injuries from Santa's Workshop, sometimes he goes entire weeks with no one coming to his office. The most severe injuries he's had to deal with since he got here are mostly Fork related incidents, which taught everyone to never show him a spork, or the owl will jump on the back and viciously scratch at whoever had offended him with the cutlery offering. After that incident, Navi was told to keep his "demon velociraptor" under supervision at all times. Fork now sits on Navi's shoulder, like the good owl he is.
