Her dress and tendrils move like smoke, growing and shrinking and fading into nothingness.
She only appears at night. She is almost certainly incorporeal, an illusion, a trick of the moonlight. Almost.
Her moth face will flutter and spread its wings. When closed, the dark undersides of the wings can make her nearly disappear, making for a shock when they suddenly open.
Her origin is unknown. Her motives are unknown. Her self is unfathomable.
She is attracted to light. Maybe it is better not to light that candle to try to catch a glimpse of that moving shadow. Maybe it is better to just remain in the dark.
Is she real or is she simply a haunting of your mind?
