Westernsky

An itty bitty kitty who tries to take her duties seriously but having a leader like Bristlebrook always brings the fun out of it. She is fiercely loyal to her leader and her Colony, to the point where she's come to blows with Comettail on various occasions. The two she-cats hate each other with a vengeance, with Westernsky repeatedly expressing dismay at Lady Bristlebrook's eagerness to keep her around because 'she amuses me'. She wants to make her leader proud and be prepared for when she takes over but she's not sure she's ready.

MOTHER: Morningblaze (adoptive) - Having lost her own kits to a coyote attack several moons prior, Morningblaze was extremely protective of Westernsky and you could argue that she was somewhat smothering as a mother. This often caused her adopted daughter to lash out and rebel against her adoptive parent and superiors. On Bristlebrook's advice, Morningblaze reluctantly allowed Westernsky more freedoms. Even when one of her foolhardy excursions cost Westernsky an eye, Morningblaze did her utmost not to lecture and Westernsky grew into the capable and quick-thinking cat she is today as a result.
