When Annie died, she wasn’t thinking that she would die. And here she is. Dead, and becoming god.
As her human days, she was the youngest daughter of a well-perceived family: she often invited the kids of the poorer neighbourhoods into the house. Most of the neighbours either thought it was inappropriate or generous of her. She taught them how to read and generally watched them play by themselves.
As of her past hobbies, she liked to take walks and go see the cats that were passing by. She also liked to study art-related books and invite her painter friend to talk about the latest expositions.
Her dad, before she died, thought of marrying her to another wealthy man where she’d have been a housewife all her life. But she isn’t on earth anymore.
That is, when she was 8, she received the visit of Juste-Agénor, the great Lord in her sleep. They said she would become them when she’d die, or when they would run out of power. They weren’t seeming to do much as a god, and she didn’t learn much from them. She thought it was all a joke, since she couldn’t possibly be visited by god in person in her dreams. It was only some inconvenience, a funny moment where she could run in the clouds in the sky. Unfortunately, it was all truth
The first thing she did when she became the one and only god was to send a message to the whole world about her whole existence. The problem is that … like her predecessor, she has a limited amount of power, that another amount she needs to name her next inheritor. So, she decided to inform only half of the planet, including the leaders of the countries first.
This made the world go upside down completely: a new religious movement sprouted, the Cross movement.
