02 — Personality
Erast is a rough and closed young man. Despite his aloofness, he manages to find a common language with many. That amazes even him. He is an interesting conversationalist, you can talk with him about almost everything. But there are topics that make him ignore the interlocutor.
Rast is the one who closed himself in, he never shares what is in his soul, even with his sister he is not always ready to share about worries. From the traumas of the past, he can seem harsh and aggressive, although he tries his best to suppress his anger.
Ulyanov takes advantage of the fact that he can scare people away with his appearance, thereby discouraging them from communicating with him, terribly afraid that one day they will betray him again if he lets people get too close to him.

Little sister
Irika is the only one to whom Erast is ready to show himself real, to show his kindness and care. He wants to protect her from their mother's oppression. But he regrets that he did not stand up for her much earlier, rejecting his sister's attempts at friendship. And he is trying to make up for lost time, although it is given to him hard.
Best Friend
Ima, like any half-breed of a mortal and a shadow, frightened Erast with his race from the first grade of elementary school. But Erast believes that he was lucky to meet such a bright and seething person with a thirst for adventure. Like Irika, Rast allows Ima to see his humble inner world, and keeps the secrets of his unusual, but so dear friend.

Alice is perhaps the only one who causes such a violent reaction from Erast. Turning pale and blushing at the sight of her, he himself does not know what causes such a reaction in him.
