About

An ASMR enthusiast with a YouTube channel dedicated to ASMR videos. Despite his tall stature and severe appearance, Yonghwa is an awkward bumbling mess who has trouble dealing with the situations his appearance lands him in. He's terrible at speaking to others, which others assume is aloof coolness. Yonghwa is calm and quiet, but ASMR is his passion and he will get very excited when he finds a new "tingle-inducing" sound or a fellow ASMR fan. He has a soft spot for cute things and has a lot of cute stationery and home items.

History

Yonghwa grew up as an only child in an ordinary family. Since he had no siblings, he has always wanted to be called "hyung" or "oppa" by someone and be a cool, reliable older sibling. He grew up alongside Jaekyung, who has remained a constant throughout his life. During his high school days he had a lot of issues sleeping due to his nervousness and ended up discovering ASMR on YouTube. He developed a great interest in it and decided to give it a try himself, leading to his love of ASMR. Yonghwa is currently a university student studying Photography while working on his growing ASMR YouTube channel.

• He's constantly misplacing his glasses so he has a glasses chain to secure them; he's nearly blind without them but hates wearing contact lens
• He has very sensitive ears; even a gust of wind near them makes him flinch
• Jaekyung doesn't remember it, but the bell Yonghwa wears on his neck was a part of a gift that Jaekyung gave to him when they were kids
• His favourite ASMR sounds are the cutting and crinkling of paper
• The white streaks in his hair are natural and a result of stress; he's worried that his hair will go completely white soon
