"You dare defy the will and teachings of the god that lies beneath?"
Abagail is a priestess of the depths, a willing missionary to the waves above. She's been enacted with the task of bringing knowledge and truths from her god to anyone who will listen in hopes of bringing them to her cause.
While she's young, she's incredibly wise and understands what has to be done in order to achieve her and her god's goals. Are her methods sometimes uncouth and considered sacrilegious? Absolutely. But do they work? Occassionally...yes.

Personality
The fist thing that people notice about Abagail is that there's not an ounce of warmth to her. It's hard to tell if it's just from how deep she hails from, or if her life choices just made her that way.
She gets easily frustrated when others won't listen to her, or even try to understand what she's trying to bring from her god's willing arms. It doesn't take much for her to snap and do something rash.
Notes
- Absolutely terrible when people don't agree with her teachings. For such a priestly type, she's utterly vicious when things don't go right.
- Capable of wielding holy magic, gifted to her by her god, though it's not the golden light that one would expect.
- Speaks the language of the depths, and will whisper truths in your ear that you never want to know.
Notes
- Has a bit of bioluminescence to her skin, which will glow green. It also tends to shine even brighter when she's using her magic.
Ildan was Shan's first choice to act as the front-facing leader of the resistance; he taught her at the academy growing up, and knew him to be wise and resolute in his decisions. The two have grown to be great friends, and she trusts the man with her life. She just wishes he'd loosen up a bit, and allow himself to relax for once.
Shan knew there was more than meets the eye with the assassin that tried to take Ildan's life, and years later, she knows that sparing him was the best thing she's ever done. The man's infectious nature even manages to make her smile a time or two, which is such a rarity in such dire times. (She pays him to make sure Ildan relaxes.)
Before Shan started the resistance force, Aldric grew up in servitude to her family. Given the chance to leave and start a new life, he instead swore fealty to his lady and remains by her side to this day.
