The only words they can speak are ones that they have heard before. They have an unlimited memory, but they cannot voice their own thoughts. They have never been taught to write - have the mind of a young child; they try to draw and copy letters and symbols but it makes no sense to them and they are punished for attempting to do so. Part of Avel’s menagerie?

• >Mane is warm to the touch, still tangible and soft though - mane goes limp when hurt, depressed, or tired.
• Sileu is constantly conflicted with her feelings - she’s angry at Avel for trapping and using her for his own purposes and a part of her seeks revenge, to show him the pain and suffering he caused her, but she could never go through with it. She sees herself as weak and helpless, unable to change her circumstances as it was engraved into her mind by the king.
