He/They
Night Light is a bat pony living in Ponyville. His special talent is comforting other ponies, especially when they’re scared. He’s usually up pretty early for a bat pony (still mostly nocturnal) but goes to bed earlier as a result. Despite his name, he’s not the brightest, but what he lacks in smarts he makes up for in heart.

- He has fangs, tufted ears, and bat wings, as well as fetlocks over his brown hooves.
- His pupils are usually slit, but can expand.
- His cutiemark is a lightbulb with bat wings.

- Much like other bat ponies, he has a big craving for fruits, and for him, specifically oranges!
Background
Moving from his bat pony hometown to Ponyville, Night Light went to the big(er) city to find out how he could use his talent to help other ponies. He enjoys helping local farmponies keep critters away from their crops at night and spending time with his friends during the day, sleeping in between. He lives in a cozy treehouse near Fluttershy's home, full of blankets, pillows, and storytelling games!
