Facts: As part of her Oath to serve Lurue she is a Vegetarian, in her prayer rituals she must kneel in a lake/river/pond and/or pray towards a moon at night.

History: Cynthia was born in to Moon Elf Parents, when her mother was pregnant she went into the woods to retrieve some herbs and got injured and lost in the forest so she stopped to rest, a Unicorn found her and healed her wounds by touching her with its horn and led her back to the village, saving her life and that of her unborn child, the divine magic from the healing seeped into her womb, blessing her child.

When Cynthia was born she had a small bump on her forehead which worried the people of her village, until a Unicorn horn eventually broke the skin which the town celebrated as a blessing from Lurue, the patron deity of her people.

Whilst growing up her people had high expectations of her, believing she was a conduit to Lurue’s will and was given her abilities for a purpose, they wanted Cynthia to eventually go after and kill the remaining Fey’ri (Elf Tieflings) her people had been at war with in the past, she carried the heavy burden and expectations that her people had for her with a heavy heart, she doesn’t think she is as a special a person that her people make her out to be and that her people only care about the blessing, not her. 

She feels that she is defined by her birth as a Child of Lurue. She doesn’t understand why she was born with her blessing and feels undeserving and unworthy of it, she wants to understand why of all the people she knows she was the one that was blessed by Lurue.

The staff she wields is from wood that was taken from a grove of trees that are sacred to her people, the trees grow besides Unicorn Run and only members of the clergy of Lurue get things made of the wood.

The crystal that hangs from her staff was a gift from a Female Ranger named Kyra who is one of the people who are training to go with Cynthia on her journey to track down and kill the Fey’ri.

She performs good deeds and helps those around her hoping that it will lead her to understanding why she was given the blessing of Lurue.

She feels that she must prove herself to the people who nurtured her and reach their expectations. But she cannot return till she performs her duty (ie vanquishing evil)
