Physical Description: Pictured on the left, in her main image. Smertyana is pretty tall, around 6 feet, fairly muscular and tends towards happily chubby when she can find enough food and wirely rangy when she is adventuring and living off the land. She wears fairly rough country clothing, typically a dress with an apron, shoulder covering, fur hat and hardy home made shoes, something like heavy leather or bark sandals tied onto waterproof leather socks or half stockings. However she also greatly enjoys clothes made with high skill, her clothes may be home or locally made but she puts in the effort to find clothing with interesting colours, textures and patterns when she can. She likes to mix and match clashing patterns, but tends to stay away from clashing or contrasting colours. She likes warm tones and earth tones, reds and browns.
She habitually carries a small flat bladed axe or hatchet and a workmanlike shortish saber.
She likes to wear her hair braided at basically all times.
When she was just a tiny child her older sister Zoya (credit https://toyhou.se/Phosphini) dissapeared, stolen away into the night, forced to join a roving pack of wearwolves. A few years later, barely remembering her sister, she decided she would get her back. She trained herself as strong as she could, and when she was 16, set out to rescue Zoya.
After a fair number of adventures, Smertyana succeeded and was reunited with Zoya, now a 30 year old wearwolf. Together, they continue to adventure and help others while enjoying their lives now reunited. They love each other dearly despite being incredibly different and have a wonderful sibling dynamic.
After some difficulty with Zoya's wearwolfness, the pair managed to "share" it between them magically, probably after some kind of quest to attempt to cure it went wrong. Now they are each half a wearwolf, but much more incontrol of this lessened power.
This half-wearwolf nature fuels Zoya's barbarian powers and Smertyana's druidic magic.
