Finn Bates, professionally known as Gemini, is a taker in the enclave Trabajo (located in Greeley, Colorado) and was a part of the crew “The Pedal Express”. The Pedal Express was made up of Leon Burch, Marie Roberts and them, but they unfortunately lost their crewmates on a job to deliver a package to Dunehill, a nearby enclave. The incident that killed them resulted in Finn breaking their leg and losing complete hearing in one ear.
Finn has a big crush on another taker from another one of Trabajo’s crews, the Pallbearers. The taker they love is named Santiago (Rook). They are very playful with him, which tends to get on Santiago’s nerves, as he is very serious and brooding. They’re flirtatious and goofy and love bothering people, especially Santiago. Finn has a thing for bad jokes, which explains why they have a pet falcon named Master.
They’re typically very bright and bubbly until the loss of their crewmates. Their injuries put them out of work for a while, and they develop survivor’s guilt and PTSD.
