About

Enki is a forest guardian who resides in the middle of a dense forest that regrew after a wildfire abnormally quick. Because of it's famously quick recovery and nearby farmers market, it is visited often by travelers and tourists. Enki, being born from the intense emotions inflicted upon the forest, has a clear memory of what had happened including scattered memories from many soldiers who were present in the war. Because of these experiences leaking into his own memories he struggles with PTSD and often isolates himself as a reaction to help calm down. He isn't fond of large crowds, which attract loud noises and paints himself as an intimidating and grumpy figure, but folks closer to him get to experience his more affectionate and cuddly side.

Home Life

Outside of work in Cider's orchard, Enki has a rather relaxing home life. He has a small hut thats bigger on the inside thanks to magic, like that of an inn. He uses it to offer a place to stay for lost travelers who were doomed to die in the forest, until Enki intervenes. Enki has a big love for cooking as well and always takes opportunity in making big meals for anyone and everyone, often making more than needed to send off for leftovers. If you are a close friend of Enki, it's guaranteed that he will bring sweets every visit. He owns a decently sized garden for his cooking, so every meal is guaranteed fresh- Enki spends time and hard work into his craft.

Social Life

Enki isn't a socialite, but has a nice group of friends and those he considers family at the orchard. Though they don't stay for the yearly farmers market, he enjoys meeting the travelers that come and go when he's there. Outside of the orchard, Enki is visited by a few friends known from being picked up out of the forest. Because of his deeds he's known as the forest spirit and is spoken of among many travelers - Though adventurers who tread the forest with intent of finding Enki never succeed.

Relationships

Cider [ ??? ]

Cider was one of Enki's first friends. He owns an apple orchard on the edge of the forest which was stumbled upon by Enki. After a few sporadic interactions, Enki began to visit more and more and is well known by customers as a helper.

Bee [ Daughter ]

Bee was a runaway and eventual helper at Cider's orchard. Enki, being a protective figure, adopted Bee into the small found family and treats her like a daughter.

Kushi [ Friend ]

Kushi is one of Enki's close friends, and enjoys joking around him. He was the first to make Enki smile and laugh, and Enki enjoys having him as company.
