Daina

Daina is a Velociraptor who is by all stretches of the imagination, rather mysterious to most given her origin and her lack of memory of how she'd gotten there to begin with. At one point, she was energetic, young and playful, but she's aged since then and has grown to be more composed, clever, and even sometimes callous. She's organized massive projects and worked directly with aristocrats and monarchs; She knows how to communicate her thoughts and communicate them well. This demeanor of hers has garnered respect and intimidation respectively and many either praise her help and contribution or fear it could spell trouble for them later.

Daina is someone who managed to weather the trials of the vast void between dimensions until she wound up in Lodestar, home to a species of strange, batlike, and somewhat-aristocratic creatures called The Nightslash. Her entrance into Lodestar was marked with a flash that could be seen for miles that lasted for just a moment before it suddenly dissipated. At the heart of the light, was a fragile reptile the likes of which were new for the Nightslash that had just gone through who knows how long of never-ending void-static.

The Nightslash were curious about her and what or who she was, and upon finding her, were quick to begin trying to communicate and accommodate her(after finding she wasn't dangerous of course...). Through her time in the void, she'd forgotten a lot, including her name of which the people of Lodestar were happy to give her a replacement for. From then on, her name would be officially Daina.

As time passed, she'd regained a sense of personal identity and recovered from her dimension-hopping ordeal(mostly). She'd also find herself in a position of rather high prowess in Nightslash society, often being a source of active assistance to the highest rulers of Lodestar. She'd have direct involvement in The Ascension Project, a project that worked towards recreating an old, but well recognized story of a Nightslash strong enough to shift the earth's core itself in hopes of leaving Lodestar behind.
Considering what would later happen, its not a far stretch to think that she may have had something to do with the eventual collapse of Lodestar...

- Originally created on October 20th, 2010 and is my oldest oc and first sona I ever created.
- Has a color swap twin whose her own character of whom I'm unsure if she's blood related to. They're at least friends though.
- Was originally gender neutral.
