Jamatao

a golem made from clay and mana formed by Darsanam in an academic experiment. originally just a shell, the mana within him has gained a humanlike sentience over time, much to his creator's surprise. in essense, he is a manufactured spirit -- however, he cannot sustain himself. at least weekly, he must be fed mana and maintained, or he will begin to crumble. Darsanam, ever-busy flittering around the college, has forgotten to feed him at least once leading to his hands and feet blackening and showing the start of his decay, which terrifies him more than anything else.

he is an imperfect copy of a human, lacking regular sight and eyes entirely, with a large, unsightly crack where they would be. this area is always covered by a head wrap. he has some sight via the sensing of mana around him, so often makes his way freely around the college with little issue.

many of Darsanam's students are often visitors, and some even friends to the young being, who loves more than anything to hear and learn about their studies, and the outside world.
