EMINATIONS
† eminations are the 8th rank in the hierarchy, making them the secondmost powerful ranks in the system. lockhart is an emination - she can communicate with apparitions and dead souls, a trait only known to be possessed by eminations. being a necromancer, souls with unfinished business are her main priority. she once met an etheric revenant (a ghost which drains the energy of people who trespass on haunted ground) called violet, who she strangely grew attached to. being an emination, lockhart is able to maintain a mortal form comfortably so long as she is not actively exerting her powers, such as in a fight. doing so would severely hinder her abilities, and she would either lose grip of the mortal form and involuntarily transform, or would transform by choice in order to increase her powers' potential. this generally isn't an issue for lockhart, being that her job as a necromancer mainly just involves exploring cursed and/or haunted grounds in order to find any wandering souls.
