ABOUT
"Don't you think this moment is beautiful?"
Yellow is first and foremost, an incredibly gentle soul.
Quiet, comforting, a bit bashful, they do not have a mean bone in their body.
A giant sweetheart who is always tired, they are pretty easy to get along with.
Taking things slow, experiencing life at their own pace, they treat every moment like it is precious.
Never one to raise his voice, is very easy going but able to vocalize and set boundaries comfortably.
Likes to travel and sketch Pokemon in their natural habitats as well as rare, beautiful landscapes. Isn't a good battler, so they make a living selling these drawings, as well as custom art of people's Pokemon, or other crafts.
Despite hiking and walking a lot for his hobby/occupation Yellow is not very physically inclined, and often gets over exhausted. Thus, he is very prone to tiring himself out and falling alseep in weird places.
The kind of person to send a random "just checkin in, hope you are well! Thought you might enjoy this," sort of messages.
DESIGN
- Androgynous in appearance, but pretty cute either way. No real defining gender features, but appearance learns toward femininity/femboy.
- Short and petite, a bit dainty in stature. Rather pronounced eyelashes, stylized however you will.
- Ahoge can be drawn up or down, but please dont forget it!
- While I prefer the white-pupil look for them, eyes can be changed to fit your style.
- Hoodie can be drawn up or down [down is currently preferred but both are okay!], and it has two brown pikachu stripes on the back of it.
- Partner Pikachu ZipZap is usually out and always with them, but optional to draw!
BACKGROUND
Young
Not a lot is known about their past. A quiet childhood and a quieter child, Yellow has always kept to themself. Playing alone, drawing peacefully, acting independently from a young age, Yellow was never bothered by the quiet as they enjoyed their space. They were labeled as shy by the other kids, but not weird, and spying her drawings or crafts was enough to draw the other kids in. The gentle soul was never one to push them away, and friendships, or at least acquaintances came easily despite never learning to reach out.
Socializing was hard and took a lot of energy they didn't have. A few of these acquaintances became pure and true friends, and are the few Yellow still keeps in contact with today. Most left for their Pokemon journey early on, though, so she was still left alone quite often.
Then
Yellow left home rather suddenly as a young teen under the guise of the 'Pokemon journey' that many kids would go on. His family was shocked, told literally the day before, but knew the independent child could handle himself. Its meaning differed for each person, and as Yellow never had an interest in (and wasn't good at) battling, it was the perfect opprotunity to simply travel. It would be a journey purely for the experience; seeing the sights, the beauty, the 'once in a lifetime' sort of moments that had to be done in person.
Now
Yellow has been traveling for many years now, and while its tougher than expected he has finally gotten the hang of it. Its been everything he hoped for and more, and captures a lot of the memories in drawings, paintings, and photos. His body hasn't gotten used to the lifestyle still, never bulking up or handling the exhaustion effectively, so his travels are slow, but that just allows more him to take in more sights.
CURRENT TEAM
Partner, best friend, first Pokemon, and comfort creature. A silly, playful, good hearted lad that wants the best for his trainer. He's full of spunk, if not a little snark, and will do anything to get a smile out of his friends. He was a birthday gift from Yellow's family.
He loves apples and coffee.
A literal giant teddy bear and never means any harm, but is generally used as a bodyguard of sorts (by restraining would be threats with hugs until they can be investigated). Often carries Yellow around when he tires himself out and falls asleep in random places. Also used as a body pillow.
He loves cheeries and hugs!
A Pokemon abused by their past owner, Yellow took in Roku after they were abandoned. After forming trust with their new trainer they reacted to Yellow's megastone (thought to just be a trinket) and achieved mega-evolution. He now acts as the offense force when danger strikes. They are rather quiet, and never talk about their past, but they pay Yellow's kindness forward as best they can.
He likes baked fish and tea.
A Lazy Delcatty who loves to sleep more than anything. He's a bit snobby and mostly keeps to himself, but even at his most peaceful he always keeps an ear perked for anything approaching his trainer. He loves cheesecake, classy desserts, and roasted tomatoes.
A naturally mute little cutie, Jello is big on motions and signals to express themself. Though they can't speak Yellow makes sure they can always communicate and is not left out. This Pokemon is pretty shy, but has really opened up in the safety of the team. Jello was named for their love of wiggly gelation desserts.
(The species in this slot is not set. Im toying with switching him out for either alolan vulpix, sun vivilion, Minccino, sentret, cottonee, wooloo, skwovet, flaaffy, or Tinkaton).
Scribbles isnt the brightest Pokemon but is always happy. They often wonder off and get lost, and has a hard time understanding danger. Despite being clueless it helps bring a lively spirit to the team and often cheers like a Plusle or Minun would.
It loves acorns, almonds, and cheri berries.
OTHER
TRIVIA
- While technically a trainer none of his Pokemon are high level aside from Roku. Mid-20's at most, his team mostly gained their levels before crossing Yellow's path, and since he hardly ever battles they arent likely to gain more.
- While not a vegetarian Yellow usually sticks to more vegetable and fish based foods. They dont actively avoid meat persay, in fact they happily eat just about anything, but other foods are preferred just for taste.
- Mixed hair color is natural.
- Name is honesty meant to be a placeholder ;o; but! Knowing me, it will stick for a long time if not forever.
- Not based on the manga character, but they do have similarities.

TEAM TRIVIA
- ZipZap is the Pokemon Yellow has had the longest. Pikachus have always been his favorite, and his family got him one as a gift. They wanted to make sure their child always had someone with them, so ZipZap quickly became a comfort and constant companion. The two are very close.
- His Bewear is shiny, but Yellow didn't know this for a long time! Stuffel are not native to his home region, so the wild Pokemon was unknown to him. It wanted pets and cuddles, and he just couldn't let the cutie go.
- Yellow wanted a cute, cuddly name for his Stuffel/Bewear but Teddy was too cliche, so it was swapped for bunny. Even as a Stuffel Bunny loved to snuggle and hug. He's protective but doesnt have a mean bone in his body, so even baddies are treated with kindness.
- Roku is a highly leveled Pokemon that would not listen to his prior trainer [not enough badges] and was abused for it. Technically, he shouldn't listen to Yellow for the same reason, but they do not have a 'master/Pokemon' relationship. Yellow is kind and treated them as an indiviual, not a fighter, thus Roku took the role of knight upon himself in order to protect her.
- Tumbleweed was a lot more fun-loving and rambunctious as a Skitty. His name came from how much he would run, jump, and roll around, getting stickers all in his fur. Evolution made him a lot more vain and lazy. He is the most aware of their surroundings alongside Roku.
- Jello likes to have his ears rubbed.

Scribbles has never had a good sense of direction. It wandered away from its colony and never found its way home. Instead, he was found and raised by a family of Plusle and Minun.
Scribbles loves to mimic Yellow and tries to draw, thus getting his name. Occasionally his art is sold as well, though its a niche market since other Pokemon can do it better.
