Solstice

Really old roleplay character from like 2008. She is the daughter of Icy. The two of them never really had a good relationship as Solstice decided to attend Alfea instead of Cloud Tower. Solstice struggles with her identity as a fairy and is often pron to angry outbursts and witchy antics. She's a really awkward sort of person and can be on the timid side, unless someone makes her angry; it's like night and day. She doesn't know who her father is but it could be Valtor. She had been an ice/northern lights (the northern lights come from her chosing to use fairy/light magic over witch/dark magic) fairy but while on an Alfea field trip to Cloud Tower she found her way into the restricted section of Cloud Towers library and mannaged to unleash a curse altered her magic and she became the fairy of death! She can still use ice magic sometimes but it doesn't come out quite the same. Her snow is usually black. Her usual fairy form (which was a frosty blue in color) had turned black and now has a hood. The streaks in her hair turned white, dark blue, and dark green. Her icicle necklace now has an hour glass affixed to it. This only made her life at Alfea harder; on top of being in her mother's shadow she also has dark powers to go with that reputation. Her magic is very much a witchy type and so she often has difficulty fitting in. She doesn't feel welcomed at Cloud Tower either since she doesn't dress nor act like a witch. At one point she considered leaving both and trying to sneak into Red Fountain as a specalist. Her goal is to try to break this curse and get her ice magic and northern lights magic back. Other facts; she really loves eating freshly picked and frozen blueberries, she is allergic to copper alloy so she has to be careful with the jewlery that she wears. She can play the kantele.
