Fan Wyrms are mysterious Ayakashi-like creatures that appear during festivals, they are only conjured. When a bamboo paper fan is placed over a lit candle and burned on the night of a festival at the moon's highest point, followed by the release of a lantern, a Fan Wyrm will appear. They are small, lanky, and vary in sizes/shapes/colors or patterns. Fan Wyrms have seven eyes, three along each sides of the neck and a very large one on the tops of their heads. They have special abilities such as shapeshifting parts of their bodies, as seen in the "Flying Form" of Lucky, and regenerative properties. The summoner will have a three day time period until the wyrm must return to their original state and be able to ask the wyrm to preform simple tasks in this time. They have no mouths and do not require food. In the three-day period a Wyrm's wings will grow rapidly and must be clipped once a day (including the last), this does not prevent the creature from flying but makes sure it can return to it's form. If their wings are neglected then they will grow out to their full size and they will be bound to their physical form, transforming into massive dangerous Kaiju over time. It is possible to have a kind hearted and tame Fan Wyrm in kaiju form, although very difficult and risky. After the wyrms are released, you may recall the same wyrm back using the same fan used to summon it during the next festival provided it isn't destroyed.
