History:  Tabitha’s Parents are a Half-Elf Named Vivienne and a Drow that Tabitha doesn’t know the name of, all Tabitha knows of her father is that he is a Drow that kept her mother hostage and tortured and raped her till she one day was able to slip away from him when he was distracted, her mother was a well known and formidable mercenary with an unknown past who people only knew for her tenacity when it came to combat, her and her colleagues were hired to venture into the underdark to retrieve something.

They were then ambushed by Drow raiders and taken hostage, none of the members of Vivienne’s mercenary band has been seen on the surface world since that day.

Her mother was rescued by a Cleric of Tyr and swore vengeance against the Drow and what they had done to her, Tabitha was then born in a Temple of Tyr where her mother decided to dedicate their lives to the Worship of Tyr and the enforcement of Justice and punishment of evildoers, Vivienne is a member of the Knights of Holy Justice who are devoted to hunting criminals and monsters such as Devils and is the leading Cleric of a Temple of Tyr that is housed in Baldur’s Gate.

Part of Tabitha’s duties at the Temple including assisting the other members of the Temple in performing sacred rites and ceremonies performed in Tyr’s name, 

Tabitha had spent much of her life in the Temple and she had little experience dealing with people and the outside world besides the adventure she was pulled into while in the Underdark for several years, this was one of the few times she had had contact with so many people outside of the church and she had picked up some of the crass vocabulary of her companions.

Tabitha wants to help People to the best of her ability and would sacrifice herself if needed so she could be of use to others, she vies to gain the love of her mother and the favour of Tyr. If someone does a good deed for Tabitha or helps her in any way she’d try and do something to pay them back tenfold.

The only bond that she had that positively affected her was with a fellow Paladin named Rimri, she was the holy child of Tyr who defended Tabitha against the punishment her mother gave her and was sent on missions with her. Tabitha thinks very highly of Rimri and even developed a love for her, all of the other people in the Temple kept their distance from Tabitha out of fear of her mother, knowing how she viewed and treated her daughter, all of them were bystanders to Tabitha's abuse and never spoke against her mother's harsh treatment.

The abuse she received growing up makes Tabitha yearn for love and affection and the slightest hint of care towards Tabitha makes her withdraw in embarrassment.

Because of her teachings and upbringing from her mother she is very untrustworthy of things such as Tieflings and Drow and thinks things such as Half-Orcs are dangerous and unlawful savages. Because of her Drow blood that her mother constantly reminds her of she is very self deprecating and looks down on all of her achievements, judging herself more than she judges others, she is ashamed of how she looks which leads to her low self esteem, which leads to her feelings of uselessness which is why she selflessly helps people at any opportunity she has.
