During the dead of night you walk into the woods. It's dark enough that you cannot see very far in front of you but you carry on. It had been a still night, no noises from animals or wind before a spine chilling breeze lightly rustles the leaves. Something is near to you, it's form is tall and the appendages on it's body blend in well with the surrounding trees. He means you no harm.
Alpha roams the woods which surround a desolate castle. Few have ever seen him but he sees all who pass through the woods. Alpha is linked to this land, so much so that Alpha and the forest could be considered the same being. The form that you see here is simply a personification of the land, a construct of it's emotions, a vessel to which it can roam upon it's own back. Alpha can only be found during the dead of night, he will not appearing during the day, for one reason or another he is tied to the night. His manifestation can be felt by a frigid breeze.
Alpha is kind and soft spoken, he's a very emotional creature. He cares deeply for all life. The growths on his back are like tree branches, they snap off and grow back. On rare occasions they bloom with bushes of small purple flowers.
