About
Emmett (aka Vesuvius) is a low-ranking demon living in the human world. He uses a normal human name rather than a Latin one by preference, not to blend in. He has a normal kenomomimi form (TBA) that he uses to blend in with the rest of the population, but while at home, he usually takes his normal demon form for comfort's sake. He comes off as easy going and relaxed, but could also be considered an agent of chaos.
Emmett prefers the world of humans to that of demons. He finds the heirarchy to be less confusing, and the area he lives in is fairly equal across race and gender lines, giving him a glimpse of what an egalitarian yet sinful society might look like. He's considered a deserter, and has made enemies of both the angels and the demons alike via his affinity for living amongst humanity.

Because of his demonic nature, much of Emmett's personality is influenced by traits stereotypically associated with Cluster B personality disorders. His capacity for empathy is very low, and he can be extremely ruthless at times when it comes to people he considers his enemies. However, as compared to other members of demonkind, Emmett is far more stereotypically "normal;" he does show kindness, especially to his girlfriend Kiki, and finds enjoyment in the mundane aspects of human life. He is a thrill-seeker though, always on the hunt for new foods to try or amusement parks to visit.

Design Notes and Trivia
- Collars around neck and tail aren't optional, please don't leave them out when drawing him!
- Hoodie is optional; he owns more than one outfit, and you can draw him in whatever you want.
- All demons have a spark of hellfire within them; although cold weather doesn't bother them much, cold water is a very different story.
- Emmett met his girlfriend when she dove from the sky and attempted to take his life. He engaged her in conversation, and the rest is history.
- Emmett's favorite food is mac n cheese, although he's picky about what kind. He's moderately obsessed with Panera.
Related
An angel, and Emmett's beloved girlfriend. Although they first met as enemies, Emmett won her over with sweets and the finer parts of the human world. Rather than fighting the angel sent to exterminate him, Emmett decided she was pretty, and took her out instead of letting her take him out (pun intended). Kiki's softness and kindness smoothes some of Emmett's more abrasive edges, and he's far more tolerable around Kiki than around anyyone else.
A young man who Emmett has accidentally-on-purpose taken under his wing. Atlas isn't much younger than Emmett, but still looks up to him as a father or older brother figure. Fish's easily-frightened demeanor irritates Emmett at times, but caring for the boy seems to bring out another side of him entirely. The two are next to inseparable, and Atlas lives in a room in Emmett's apartment.
*Not quite. To most humans, Acario looks like a regular German shepard, but in reality, he's a fully autonomous hellhound who followed Emmett up from hell. Acario is completely sentient and capable of making his own decisions. Bored where he was, he accompanied Emmett to the human world where he decided to live with him in Emmett's apartment along with Atlas.
