She is a beetle-like creature who lives in the dark forest with a lot of monstrous creatures.
Direct sunlight hurts her and causes her to turn to ash, she uses her umbrella to go out during the day.
When she cries, her tears corrupt anything they touch turning it a deep purple and sprouting unnatural plants that usually only grow in the dark forest.
She has a hard carapace on her back that contains wings.

She is very shy and skittish, but has a natural curiosity which conflicts with her meek demeanor.
She likes to observe things from the shadows or in hiding, but will run away at the first sign of trouble.
