Upton Braun

"Upton Braun" is the civilian identity of the Adonis Project, an escaped human-zapdos chimera created by an unscrupulous world-ruling mega-corp. Created by Dr. Braun and his partner, he was raised to be an experimental weapon and lived in a facility until he was freed by Dr. Braun when the latter had enough of his employer's evil. Although Braun was killed, he returns to life as a rotom and has guided his creator ever since. Prior to falling into an interdimensional portal, he was an active member of a resistance group against the corporate government in his timeline.

In the WAAPT universe, attempts at cloning legendary pokemon often resulted in glitches, often-unstable  yet powerful eldritch abominations who distort the reality around them. As an attempted clone of zapdos, Upton retains some glitching, which he half-assedly lies about to keep people from probing. It's often super-effective.

In the timeline he ended up falling into, the version of him and his main pokemon were much different. The project instead grafted cloned zapdos tissue over an anthropomorphic winged mechanical construct.
