Switch grew up as a nomad, traveling throughout the outskirts of the Wastland having several run ins with those who opposed them such as rival clans. After staying with his clan for 19 years he was banished and kicked out for murdering one of his own within the clan over a disagreement. He traveled all the way to Night City on his motorcycle to live within the danger and that is exactly what he got.
