Profile

One of the frmer Tennants of the house haunted by Albert.

(1970-1972) Elena Winter lived with her abusive stepfather, needing Albert's ghostly help and friendly guidance more than most. In return, she freed him from his room, opening the rest of the house for him.

(1974) After her Stepfathers emprisonment, Ellie was taken to an orphanage and eventually adopted by the Schreibers. She hated being taken away from Albert, but was overjoyed to hear from her niece Jasmin (in 2019) that the friendly ghost was still where she left him over fifty years ago. Though Albert now looks like he could be her own son, she still treats him like the older brother/father figure he once was for her.

Elena lives alone, but in close proximity to her jounger brother and his familiy. She regualrily looks after her niece and nephews, but moved house to care for her elderly mother in 2020, which took up most of her time. In 2023, the mother moved to a care facility, as her dementia needed more care than Ellie could provide. She and her cats moved back into her own flat, leaving her mothers house free for Jasmin and her new family.

She supports Albert and Thomas to the best of her ability (being a friend and guardian, helping to find a therapist, occasionally bringing tea and cake), and helped Albert build up a career as a freelance artist like she did. She also makes herself available as a babysitter anytime she's needed.

Moods/Hobbies:

Can usually be seen drawing (expressionistic, often showing Albert (sans clothes, whith fluffy wings), her old room, horses, cats, wonderland teaparties or still-lifes with a surreal twist), baking (cakes, muffins, cookies...) or playing/cuddling with her cats. She is also an apt storyteller with a passion for (possibly) made up fairytales. Excellent babysitter, both as an aunt and as a grandma.

Clothes:

Soft, slightly oldfashioned dresses and skirts. Blues and Yellows in various patterns.

(The plush pony on the ref is very dear to her, but usually just decorates her bedside table.  She doesn't actually carry it around.)

[Note that I have no clue about fashion. Also why is is SO HARD to draw women of medium age? I need better refs./rant]
