In the unwritten history of Combat, there are many legends who remain shrouded in mystery. Tales of fighters with the strength of gods, lost to the flow of time. Of these unsung legends was Su-Jin Hoon, known to those who have heard of his skills of a fighter as ‘The God of Absolution’.

Very little is known about Su-Jin. What is known is that he hails from a family of Taekwondo practitioners located deep within Seoraksan, South Korea and he traveled the world learning more Martial Arts to make himself stronger than the rest, combing all of knowledge to create ‘Absolution’, his own personal style of Taekwondo.

However, there was always one problem that would come up time and time again: The Future.

-

For a time, Su-Jin had even settled down with a wife and child. But even then he still kept his focus on perfecting Absolute Taekwondo, neglecting his familiy.

In the midst of another training tour, his family had left him, leaving nothing but a hole in his heart.

Scorned by his own perfectionism, Su-Jin entered a dark period in his life where he wasted away smoking opium and sleeping with as many as possible, just to try and have a feeling again. But alas, it only made him feel emptier.

Having a deep long look at himself and his life, he knew he had to get out of the hole he had dug himself and start over.

-

With what little money he had left to his name, he made his way to the States, got himself cleaned up, began to train again (albiet, not to his former rigorous extent) and even found himself a job as a Bellhop at a fancy li'l hotel in Diamond Star, New York.

It's not much, but he's certainly happier than he was before. He's even got friends who make it feel like he's a part of a genuine family. And it's in this circle of new found friends that Su-Jin may have finally found a purpil to learn his TKD.

Only time will tell if Lee-Hwan is the one.
